BI Business Analyst

We are looking for a long-term collaboration on large-scale customer projects in the telecommunications, finance, or public sector.

We are seeking an experienced BI Business Analyst with strong knowledge of the Power BI platform, corporate environments, processes, systems, and tools — someone eager to continue learning, gaining new experience, and strengthening our team.

Role Description and Responsibilities

You will act as a Business Analyst for a large-scale customer Data Warehouse (DWH) project in the telecommunications sector based in Prague, starting in January 2026.
The role involves contributing to the development of a new cloud-based BI/DWH solution in the Microsoft Azure environment using Power BI tools.

Our ideal colleague is communicative and responsible, as the position requires working closely with both business and development teams — defining requirements for company-wide reporting and preparing data sources for reporting development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participation in the collection and preparation of analytical materials for:
  • Development of all layers of the data warehouse
  • Data consolidation and preparation of data marts
  • Power BI report development
  • Creation of data models
  • Close collaboration with both development and business teams in an agile environment

Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge in creating process and data models
  • Proven experience with DWH/BI development on the MS SQL platform
  • Understanding of data warehouse principles and architecture
  • Knowledge of UML and experience with Enterprise Architect
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience with SSIS and SSAS technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Synapse Analytics, Spark, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Strong sense of design and data visualization

  • Conceptual thinking and proactive approach

  • Commitment to deadlines and delivery

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
